Geophysical study for mining / environmental

Mining of mineral deposits is never properly done in isolation, nor is it an entity in itself. Applications of geophysics in the realm of mining engineering is a strategic planning in mine industrial. Metalliferous mining industry as a whole has been slow to introduce geophysics into mines. Geophysics has the potential to reduce risks in mine development. Geophysical methods if appropriately applied, can improve performance in a number of spheres, including cost per tonne, safety, and environmental impact.
